SWC LVN Class of 2016 | Southwestern College | Otay Mesa, California

These group of women decided they wanted to be in the medical field by choosing a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or LVN.  They endured the 18 month program which required many hours of studying, clinical hours, class hours, sacrifice and determination.  Some of them started as Certified Nursing Assistants and some of them started with no medical experience at all.  For some of them, they will seek jobs in hospitals and clinics.  Some of them will continue their education and pursue a career to be a Registered Nurse or even a Nurse Practitioner.  They all come from different age groups, different races and different cultural backgrounds.  But the one thing they all have in common, is the kind heart to be a nurse and to help others.  They couldn’t have done it without their determination, their families, their significant others, their instructors, their mentors and anyone else who has supported them.   Their graduation ceremony commences on Friday, December 9 and they will complete their 18 month course.  Congratulations to all of them and and wishing each of them well on their Board Exam and their career as a nurse.  Also want to give a shout out to my wife who is in the program and to let her know how proud I am and how her family is so very proud of her.  We Love you Babes!
